Due to the higher temperature, more rain, humid air and higher electrical load in summer, the CO2 laser (referred to as laser tube) has a high failure rate in summer. In order to ensure the normal use of lasers in summer, reduce the failure rate of lasers and lower the return rate, lasers should be used in summer with attention to.
1. strengthen the daily maintenance of the laser and laser equipment, regular inspection and confirmation of the reliability of the laser high and low high wire connection, the cold water system and the optical path system.
2. the laser's high-voltage end and high-voltage wire joints should be far away from metal materials and water-cooled tubes, due to installation location restrictions caused by the high-voltage end or high-voltage joints too close to metal materials, can be isolated between the high-voltage end or high-voltage joints and metal materials with insulating materials to avoid the phenomenon of high-voltage ignition.
3. where the laser 1650mm and above is best to use 50KV high-voltage wire, high-voltage wire as short as possible, not winding, joints as few as possible, the number of high-voltage wire joints can not exceed 2, when the high-voltage wire is found to be aging or declining protection capacity, timely replacement of high-voltage wire.
4. laser and laser power supply to match, laser power supply in accordance with the laser tube on the body of the "carbon dioxide laser use precautions" to choose, when the external power is lower than 210V, it is recommended that customers install a voltage regulator.
5. keep the cooling water flowing smoothly, the cooling water flow reaches the flow rate specified in the "Notes on the Use of Carbon Dioxide Lasers", the water temperature is controlled below 30℃, and the temperature difference with the room does not exceed 5℃ to prevent the laser tube body or window mirror from condensing due to the large temperature difference of the cooling water. If the phenomenon of condensation occurs, the condensation part can be wiped clean (wipe clean before the power must be turned off), and then adjust the cooling water temperature to the appropriate temperature, and then restart the work.
6. the laser into the water, water should use the principle of low into high, the laser into the water, the water pipe should be far away from the laser body (especially the light outlet body), the body of the water outlet vertical up, no bubbles in the tube. (Laser tube inlet and outlet can not be tilted, due to installation problems resulting in fried tubes, our company does not carry out warranty.)
7. keep the window mirror lens clean and free of pollution. Regularly or irregularly use bamboo swabs with anhydrous ethanol (alcohol) to clean up the contaminants in the laser window mirror. (Pay attention to the strength when cleaning the window mirror to avoid the lens being scrubbed)
8. Pay attention to keep the high voltage end clean and dry, clean the dust around the high voltage electrode regularly or isolate the electrode with plastic film to avoid the high voltage end from firing.
